The latest College Basketball AP Top 25 poll has arrived, and the SEC is still as dominant as it's been all season.
Tennessee and Auburn are still the No. 1 and 2 teams in the country, to no surprise. Tennessee played just once and demolished Western Carolina while Auburn added yet another top 25 win by beating the brakes off Purdue.
Kentucky, which was ranked No. 4 last week, fell to No. 10 after falling to Ohio State on a neutral court. The Wildcats' defense is a real concern heading into SEC play.
Alabama and Florida come in at No. 5 and 6, respectively. Florida, like No. 12 Oklahoma, is still undefeated on the season after a win over North Carolina this past week. There is an argument to be made that Florida should be ahead of the Crimson Tide here, but Alabama has 2 wins better than Florida's best win so far this season.
Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Arkansas all cracked the poll as well, marking 10 SEC teams within the Top 25. Folks, that is just completely ridiculous - and a testament to how brutal SEC play is going to be when it tips off on January 4.
