Waymo goes international: Alphabet-owned robotaxi coming to Tokyo

Waymo, the robotaxi company owned by Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL), is set to partner with Japan's largest taxi operator Nihon Kotsu and a taxi-hailing app GO in Tokyo in early 2025. Waymo is also looking to expand domestically in Miami sometime in 2026.
