Sir Paul McCartney surprised Beatles fans on Thursday night as he reunited on stage with Ringo Starr.
The former bandmates were greeted by thunderous applause from a packed crowd at London's O2 Arena when they took to the stage again to perform classics such as Helter Skelter and Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Addressing the audience, Sir Paul said: "Oh London, this is the last night of our current tour. We've been around South America and all over the place.
"So it's great to be back and we're going to have some fun tonight."
Sir Ringo, who was wearing his trademark dark sunglasses, added as he walked off stage: "I've had a great night - it's been a great show and I love you all".
Sir Paul, 82, also treated fans to an appearance from Ronnie Wood, the Rolling Stones guitarist, to perform Get Back.
During the song, Sir Paul played his original Hofner 500/1 bass for the first time in 50 years after it was stolen in 1972.
Among the 40 songs he played, other set highlights included a rendition of Live And Let Die, the James Bond theme by Wings, which prompted fireworks and pyrotechnics that replicated the film's opening sequence.
He was also joined by a children's choir to sing Wonderful Christmastime.
Thursday evening's performance marked the final show of Sir Paul's Got Back Tour, which began in October and has seen him play shows in Madrid, Paris and Sao Paulo.
