MADISON, Wis. -- The University of Wisconsin-Madison will offer a plant online asynchronous course by the UW Division of Extension Horticulture Program for part of the spring semester.
It will run from Feb. 1 to April 30, 2025 designated to teach students how to identify plant problems.
The course will go over the plant diagnostic process and finding resources to use for diagnostics.
Plant Diagnostics: The Step-by-Step Approach to Identifying Plant Problems is the course's official name and is self-paced with 13 modules. Interactive activities, videos and readings are set to be included.
General public and commercial professionals are invited to enroll. Registration is open until Feb. 3. An early bird price is available until Jan. 21 for a discounted rate of $99.
The usual rate for the class is $119 from Jan. 22 to Feb. 3. Members of the Active Wisconsin Extension Master Gardeners are eligible for a discounted rate of $49.
People who cancel the course before the course start date will receive a refund that is $20 less. No refunds or returns will be given after Feb. 1, including late registrations.
