Dollar Tree shopper spots name-brand beauty essential on shelves for $1.25

IT'S not the first place you think of when considering where to buy name-brand beauty products.

So it's understandable that shopper Kim was left stunned when she spotted a Vivaspa Face and Body ice roller on the shelves, priced at just $1.25.

She took to TikTok to share her shock over the find, as she gushed: "Oh my God you guys. I cannot believe!

"I just found this in Dollar Tree, let me show you."

"Omg! this @Dollar Tree $1.25 name brand find is AMAZING!" Kim captioned the video.

"Dollar Tree has the best goodies!"

She then picked up the product to show it off, with people then desperate to head to their nearest Dollar Tree in a bid to find one.

As someone else sighed: "I still haven't found these!"

The popularity of using ice rollers to reduce puffiness in the face has increased dramatically over the last few years.

"Ice is a well-known treatment for inflammation," dermatologist and author Sandy Skotnicki explained to Woman's World.

"If you sprain your ankle, you ice it to reduce swelling, which is essentially decreasing inflammation.

"It can also result in an increase in blood flow, which is one of the ways it reduces inflammation by bringing anti-inflammatory mediators to the injured or inflamed area."

And while some people have taken the ice routine to the extreme by dunking their face in a bowl of ice cold water, a roller is better, simply because the action of the device can help increase blood flow to the skin, according to a 2018 study.

However, as with anything ice-based, you need to be careful not to overdo it - and should stick to five minutes max for your rolling routine.

And avoid it if you struggle with Rosacea, as cold temperatures can make symptoms worse.

Ice rollers can also be used on the body, with athletes often turning to them as a way to relieve tired muscles on their legs.

While you can use your ice roller at any time of the day, Dr Skotnicki suggests doing it just before putting your face serum on, as it can aid absorption of the powerful product into the skin.
