OpenAI wrapped up its festive "12 Days of Shipmas" campaign on Dec. 20. Shipmas was a thrilling series of announcements by the AI forerunner, showcasing its newest features, tools, and advancements through its recent holiday initiative. The event which started on Dec. 5, delighted users and developers alike and highlighted OpenAI's commitment to innovation and accessibility.

Picking up from Dec. 10, the sixth day of Shipmas saw ChatGPT's voice capabilities with video generation, allowing for more dynamic interactions. Additionally, a festive "Santa Mode" was introduced for seasonal engagements. You can activate the feature by tapping a snowflake icon on the right of the text box, however, it will only be available until the end of the year.

OpenAI introduced Projects, a feature designed to help users stay organized while working in ChatGPT. With the ability to upload files, group conversations, and set custom instructions, Projects streamlines workflow management. This tool is particularly beneficial for professionals juggling multiple tasks, offering a centralized space to manage and access ongoing work with ease.

Building on its October launch, the enhanced ChatGPT Search feature provides users with faster and more accurate web-based answers. The improvements ensure that users receive timely and relevant information, making it a powerful tool for research, troubleshooting, or general inquiry.
