The 76ers have been one of the league's biggest disappointments this year, but still look like a formidable squad when fully healthy. This was certainly the case in the first half, as Philadelphia scored early and often. Boston fought back in the third quarter and looked poised to wrestle control of the game. The Sixers had other plans, however, and opened the fourth period on a commanding 21-6 run. This essentially put the game on ice, even as the Celtics threatened a late comeback in the final minutes of the game. In the end, an inconsistent defensive effort negated any chance of a Christmas miracle for Boston (and offset a monster 32 point, 15 rebound performance from Jayson Tatum.)
