DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- A 911 call about two men allegedly fighting in Middletown on Christmas Eve ended with a police officer fatally shooting one of them.
According to city officials, officers were called to an apartment shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday on a report of two adult men fighting.
Officers allegedly knocked on the apartment door and identified themselves as police. According to the city, one of the men opened the door and displayed a weapon, prompting one of the officers to fire.
The subject was pronounced dead at the scene.
