Report - Who Are WWE Considering To End Cody Rhodes' Title Reign?
Lexis King won the WWE NXT Heritage Cup after defeating Charlie Dempsey this past Tuesday on NXT TV.
The match featured interference from William Regal, who knocked out King, allowing Dempsey to pick up a foreign object. This led to Dempsey's disqualification by the referee, granting King the trophy.
It is to be noted that although Regal struck King with the brass knuckles, he didn't pass them to his son Charlie afterward. The knuckles were in King's grasp and flew out when he attempted to return them to Regal as the Hall of Famer delivered the blow.
Following his victory, King shared his thoughts on social media, stating that he cherishes his Heritage Cup more than his girlfriend.
King tweeted, "I woke up this morning next to the love of my life! My girlfriend was there as well!!! Merry Christmas everyone 😂👑🎄"
