What to know: SpaceX launch from Cape Canaveral will reattempt Astranis satellites mission

SpaceX will try again tonight to launch the Astranis mission, known as From One to Many.

Originally set for earlier Friday night, the launch slipped to midnight. However, as the countdown hit T-1 second, the rocket fired, and the launch director was heard saying "abort." The nine engines shut off, and the rocket stayed on the pad.

SpaceX has not revealed the cause of the scrub, but has confirmed they are looking to launch at midnight tonight.

This 91st launch of the year will see SpaceX launch four satellites for Astranis Space Technologies. The satellites are headed to geostationary orbit - a stable and very high orbit, over 22,000 miles in altitude to be exact. For reference, the ISS only orbits at 254 miles.

The 45th Weather Squadron predicts a 95% chance of favorable weather for this launch window.
