New Mexico man sentenced to 7 years for drug trafficking

His passenger was asked to step out due to having a warrant. While she was being spoken to by officers, Romero tried to escape.This led to him being found at an auto parts store with meth, suboxone strips, a bag of pills, and a handgun. An assault-style rifle was also found inside his vehicle.Romero was sentenced to serve seven years in the Department of Corrections.
